Does anyone know how I'd go abouts playing a RANKED match (not unranked), with someone on my friends list?

Well, if I remember correctly you cannot play a ranked game with a friend. Think about it. It would be way to easy to rank up like that. It's basically like you're "fixing" a game. Only way to make it happen is by pure fluke, where you create a ranked game and a friend happens to join just at that moment. Main thing is, you cannot invite friends to ranked games...which kinda sucks but at the same time makes sense.

Na, there is a way, my friend just told me.

I gotta go to leaderboards, then hold LT, go to VS friends. All my friends will show up (even if they odn't have NHL), and I just click on whoever I want to play, and send invite, make it a ranked match, and then we can play.

I wanna play ranked matches cause me and my friend play a lot, and wtf is the point of playing a normal match if it doesn't mean anything. We probably play like 10 games a day.

I had also read of another way, go into the beginners rooms, and you can choose who you want to have a ranked match with.
I own the game, but have not tried online yet....

To those with the game, is there any ice level ambient sound effects? i.e players shouting for the puck, harsh skating cutting the ice, etc. ?

has anyone who created or joined a league can tell me if playoffs are included after everyone is done playing with each other?
