The walmart energy star bulbs are a steal right now.

Works out to be a buck a bulb with the celebration sale and energy coupon.

Go for it - what's to lose. They won't be any worse than the dollar store ones. May actually be identical to the name brand ones. Chances are they are made in the same factory in China anyways.

I don't know about that! I bought Sunbeam CFL's at the dollar store. They don't last a third as long as any other brand I've purchased. I think I am being generous with the one-third! I even bought one that was DOA - Dollar-ramma does not take returns even if DOA :twisted:

P.S. I don't shop at WM so I don't know which bulbs they sell.
