I was just wondering where are some good places to get a car certified?

I checked out this place:

http://www.safecar.ca/

and heard some good things about it.

But the person thats selling the car to me rather not travel down to Woodbridge (hes in Aurora/Newmarket) and would prefer anywhere else except Woodbridge for some reason.

Anyways, i need someone, or i would really like someone to check out this car from head to toe, side to side and the whole works.

A friend of mine said that some places just make sure the lights work, and do a basic check. I need a place to do a through check and would be willing to pay more in order to make sure that everything is throughly checked out....

Its a Mazda btw ..... any good Mazda dealerships i can bring it to to get it certified and checked out throughly??

Thanks...

What model and how old? Google up the car and see if there are any recalls / known issues with that year and model and get the inspector to check that.

There are shops that offer inspections for about $100. If you need a thorough check, go somewhere thats got a hoist to look under the car and everywhere.
Make sure whever you get it done, you get a compression test done with it and that can tell you if the engine is still good or not (bad compression, no good or could mean a rebuild or low on oil in one of the valves etc so this is good to check the motor)
