2008 Civic, EcoAuto Rebate or Honda Benefit Incentive?

Hello,

My local Honda dealer in London, Ontario suggested that the 2008 Civic with a manual transmission will be eligible for the EcoAuto Rebate, or Honda Benefit Incentive if the EcoAuto Rebate does not apply to the Civic.

It is to my understanding that the 2007 model is eligible for Honda's incentive, but has anyone heard about the 2008?

yes the 2008 will also be included. the models isn't going any changes, so unless the gov't decides to pull the ecoauto rebate program, 2008 should be included too

The 2007 models are NOT eligible for the EcoAuto rebate, and that's why Honda started their own Honda Benefit Incentive for 2007 (and 2006) Civics.

Since the model isn't changing, there won't be a 2008 EcoAuto rebate either? If that's the case, I hope the Honda Benefit Incetive comes out for 2008.
