a while ago there was some "RetailPlus" brand going for ~$15... went back up to ~$18 i think.

the brand tho, was just a slip of paper shrinkwrapped onto the 100pc pkg. they're the same ones that stooples sell in their "stooples brand" pkging

If it were regular jewel cases, I might be on it. Don't like the slim ones.
When I print up the cover and back for a downloaded album, the regular jewel cases are better (since you can read on the spine).

I feel cold.

That might be me used to $5/150 dualsided plastic sleeves instead of actual cases though lol

i haven't seen reg.-sized JCs for a cheap price for a long time

that, and most big-box retailers are selling the slims most of the time.

heh, i'm glad i'm not the only one that has that preference :D

It really depends on how you use them. 30 cents per case is alright but I guess not too many of us will use more than 10 of these. Trust me, these cases are heavy, I have about 50 of them with discs inside and they weigh a ton. Fairly good for music CDs, but for your everyday storage, avoid.

i guess you're more used to paper sleeves and/or the cd/dvd-binder sleeves?

30c ea. is warm at best. i remember buying this same 100pk for ~$20 yrs ago at stooples.. that was a pretty good deal back then.
never seen it for that low since... might have been $25 once, IIRC, but nothing lower.

you could prbly find bulk pkgs for cheaper at your local compy store.

hehe i just want to add something regarding these cases..

i used to work at staples and we had those under the tent event where these were sold 2.99 for the same exact pack.

i bought 10 packs of 100... now as of today (6 years after) , i still have 300+ left.
thats probably the best purchase ever

$2.99 for 100pk ?!!?!?

how can they even manage to make profit off that?

that's hot. even if on clearance (which is a rare) i wouldn't be able to find 100pks selling for <$10 at a local compy store....

yes it was crazy hot indeed...

this was only at our local StOOpleS though... they setup a huge tent in the parking lot and they were selling stuff with rebates up to 80%.

at that time (maybe its still like this right now but IDK), COMPAQ/HP PC came with 2 other boxes with one french( plus all recovery, winXP and drivers CD), and one english package with all the cds..

These were on sale 3 bucks. so i grabbed around 15 winXP liscences and 15 keyboards for 45 $ ...

i also remember when stOOpleS stopped selling multi-brand cellphones... all the other brand phones were dropped to 2.97$ or 9.97$. i grabed like 5. The timecards were also dropped to 16 bucks for a 50$ card.. i got transferred 5 cards from another store since we did not have any left.. but they were expired since 2-3 months... Anyhow, i tried to activate them, and it worked... but instead of getting 50$ for a 50$ card, those expired cards gave me 100$ each. so i paid 5x16 = 80 bucks+tx for 500$ of cellphone minutes...

good ol' days
