Too bad we couldn't have an RFD shopping cart that gathers all the deals as you're browsing the forums. :)

Does anybody know how do these headphones compare to the Zalman ones:
http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=012510&cid=495.404
I personally would prefer Zalman over Nexxtech at the same price any day.
Thoughts?

Buy it from TSCC, try it, then return it if you don't like it. I tried finding a review, but no luck.

The control box on the cable seems the same as the Tritton one so they may be made by Tritton.

i was gonna say the same, the headset setup looks similar as well... as far as the mic positioning and plugs and stuff... if it is made by tritton, i highlt recommend it, i ahve a tirtton 5.1 headset for my xbox 360 got games, it takes a bit of getting used to, but i LOVE it! (my model number is AX360 which is NOT USB, but so far i am impressed by the quality and performance.)

True. I use mine on a PC, so I'm biased. ;)

Mic has serious compatibility issues in some games when used with teamspeak. Absolutely no driver support through the web site of the manufacturer. If you let XP install the drivers you lose all the surround sound. Dont lose your receipt or your lose
.. and I also looked at the NexxTech Web site.. really crappy..has nuthing..no list of products no downloads.

I FINALLY recieved the Nexxtech today as a present for a friend and decided to give it a test to make sure it sounded ok. I own a set of the Tritton's so the software was already on my computer. I plugged in the Nexxtech's and guess what!! They're Tritton's :D
They sound exactly the same. They're just repackaged with a different company.
When you install them, just install the Tritton drivers instead. They don't have the mic issue.
As for sound quality, the Tritton headset I own is extremely well built and the speaker sound quality is phenominal. Definetly on par with plantronics headsets. The Nexxtech version as you can imagine is exactly the same.
THANKS OP!!! AMAZING DEAL!
$50 was a STEAL!

Install the Tritton driver's. Tritton fixed the mic issue a long time ago. Clearly this other company hasn't released the update yet.

Do they Nexxtech ones have the rumble effect, or can it be turned off?
I'd rather not have that.
I may pick up a pair if they go on sale again.
