Reading the local paper and apparently Fast Eddie's is having their 20th anniversary yesterday and today. The home of the $0.69 burger is selling them for $0.20 today only from 11AM to 7PM.
I believe this is at all locations but I'm not sure. Definitely at the Brantford location.
I'm not a huge fan but @ $0.20 that should hold the lions (aka kids) off for another day.
Cheers.

I used to live in Brantford and I heard Fast Eddies is what they used to serve to prisoners.
For $0.20, I would not trust the burgers. You can't even buy a large sour key at the corner store for $0.20

It's only a 1-day deal... some places give away free food on special occasions.

It's regularly 69 cents. How much better does that make you feel?

Yeah, I also heard that Nessy was alive and well. she was transported to the Amazon via helicopter. The whole endeavor was paid for by Colonel Sanders. For some reason, I don't believe everything I hear.
I drove past the restaurant the other day. They were voted best burgers in Brantford I think.
I'd give it a shot if I were in the area today.
PS> Giant Sour Keys are a rip off.

Please read the post I was responding too... no need to be a smarta$$ to me when you don't even understand what my point is.

They're sliders,
Like McDonald's cheeseburgers, they taste damn good but are oh so wrong for you.

Moving to Toronto, one of my biggest regrets is that there is no fast eddie's here.
As for the 69 cent burger - do you feel better knowing that that the other chains charge you more for a burger that probably costs them less?
I used to eat at Fast Eddie's all the time and never had any complaints about there burgers - but I have had many, many McDonald's burgers that have made me feel sick, and others that have disintegrated, doused in salt and pepper, or are otherwise inedible.

This thread reminds me of the McDonalds Big Mac/McMuffin for $1 deal... Sigh.
Anyways, has anyone confirmed it is chain wide? (or at least cambridge?)
Also, are there limits to the amount you can purchase?

As poor university student, $0.20 burger sounds really good to me. But too bad Fast Eddie's is a little out of my way and would take at least 2 or 3 buses to get there. Sigh.

5 burgers and a crazy fry for like 3 bucks? That should be more then enough for 1 person. Unless you were intending to eat 10 to 15 burgers yourself?

I just came back from lunch at the downtown brantford fast eddies. You have to buy a crazy fries ($1.99 for med) and it says a limit of 5 hamburgers per car. But my buddy and I just got out and walked up to the window and had seperate orders and they didnt care.
There is also a sign that says if you buy a crazy fries, you can get a mountain dew for 20 cents.. So add that in there if you are thirsty from all the hamburgers.

Sadly, they used to. They had a decent location too, but for some reason, they shut down. It used to be on Weber and University just north of the bank (TD I think).

Easily could eat 8-10. They're about the same size as McDonald's regular hamburgers.
