Just got an awesome tint done from John at Autolinks, and looking to purchase a body kit (front back and side skirts) to finish everything off for my 1999 cavalier 4 door, anyone know where to get them cheap in toronto? or maybe online? any and all advice is appreciated!

Make/Model will help.

You can probably get used kits off people on forums (car specific forums, not rfd), if you dont mind used. Also, if you join a car specific forum, they usually conduct group buys, where you can join a bunch of people and get the same kit (usually for a little less.)

That's the value of the car in the first place. I mean, if you can afford to dump a couple grand more into your car (that you'll never see again at resale), why the hell not get a better car?

but its like my child haha

You don't force your child to wear cheap, ridiculous-looking anti-normal fashion, do you? It's a Cavalier. Thinking of it as anything more is a mistake.

labour for bodykit should be included in the $2000. Bodykit for J-bodies is around $600 MAX. Prices are lower now then what they were during the fast and furious days. lol

You can try making a body kit out of carboard... ;)

ewww.. dont do it!!!
If u wanna make ur car look nice... get some rims and lower it down...
At least you can use the rims on another car.
or get the stock spoiler. Ur only gonna make it worst with a body kit!!!

or get a sound system... at least you can enjoy tunes, and transfer it to a new car if u ever decide to get a better one.

The ultimate in vehicle security. Once you add the body kit, nobody will want to steal it.

OK, then put the $1000 aside for the next repair, or start saving towards your next car.

If you can only afford a Cavalier, that's fine. But beyond the aesthetic nightmare you'll be creating with a body kit on an old Cavalier, it's a remarkably bad financial decision as well.

OP reminds me of this guy from my old job, he installed a fake hood scoop (unpainted black) and a fart can on his silver cavalier with stock steelies with hubcaps and guess what, it's an automatic! makes me laugh everytime he floors it thinking he's cool

If you just got a Cavalier, save the money you'd spend on the body kit for repairs. They are one of the most notoriously unreliable cars out there.
