Hi all,
Your help is appreciated!
I rented a standard size car. I used my visa gold card which covers collision and loss damage insurance.
I made some minor linear scratches on the bumpers when I park. I called the Assured Asistance Inc. and they made a claim. Now I think I made a stupid move: I don't want to damage my insurance rating for such minor damage. There was no accident/collision just some 5 cm scratches. Now they ask me to fax all the rental record.
I am a new driver. Do you think it is a good idea to cancel the claim? Do you think it was a bad idea to make a claim in the first place when your damage is covered bumper to bumper by Visa card.
I called the Visa gold card and they confirmed that the collision and damage are covered bumper to bumper.
Again any suggestions are very much appreciated!
