:?: We have been doing research into a number of vehicles that we are considering purchasing in the States.
They are all imports.
We would like to find out which vehicles are duty-free (ie. made or assembled in Canada or US).
Can anyone direct me to a site which might have such a list?

Search the forums as it's been discussed and people have typed lists but the bottom line is if it's built in NorthAmerica (VIN starts by a number) it's duty-free, if it's built anywhere else in the world (VIN starts by a letter), you pay duty.
Easiest way is to get the VIN of the vehicle you want to buy but if you can't get that, find a similar vehicle and check the VIN (e.g. search make / model / year on eBay Motors and look at the VIN of the results (only catch is that some vehicles (e.g. Toyota Camry are built in the US and in Japan so what you find that doesn't always work (i.e. you need the VIN off the specific vehicle you want to buy)).

It’s a vehicle made in North America if it has a VIN that begins with a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.
1, 4, 5=USA
2=Canada
3= Mexico
J=Japan
W=Germany
K=Korea
Vehicles manufactured outside Canada, the US or Mexico are assessed a 6.1% duty fee.
You will find that at least the following brand new vehicles can (depending on the exact one you are purchasing) or will have a North American VIN:
