Hey everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade the laptop in my Macbook Pro. It only came with a 80 GB 5400 rpm hard drive and I always find myself running out of space. I'm looking for something at least 160 GB 7200 RPM. This was the best price on one I could find was from ncix. Any suggestions? -->Seagate Momentus 7200.2 160GB 7200RPM SATA 11MS 8MB 2.5IN Notebook Hard Drive 5YR MFR Warranty

yeah, try not to go 7200rpm with macbooks, its not too great when it might just overheat on u

take that 170$, buy urself a WD passport 250gb at costco, rip out the external enclosure, and put that in.. (not sure if this voids the warrenty of the hdd itself, but it probably voids the external)

or u can always get a 160gb 5400rpm one at info/canada or something... 7200rpm is dangerous in a notebook imo
