My bread maker is starting to die and I've been looking for a new one at Wal-Mart. The cheapest one is a B&D for $80!!!!! Way too much! The one I bought 2 yrs ago was a ToastMaster for $45. Anyone know of any better deals? I am in the GTA.

I wonder if you have a similar model to mine.... I have a breadmaker, used 3 times - my husband threw out the mixing blade with a bad loaf - now it's unusable....
what's the model #? Ours was bought at CDN tire several years ago, but may be compatible.
The comapny does not manufacture or carry the blades so it's garbage to me otherwise.
maybe we can make a deal if it works?

Wish I saw this last week, Zellers had a Black and Decker for $49.99.
Do you have any good recipe? I found the crust is too thick/hard on the bread come out from a bread machine.

crappy tire and costco have had b&d breadmakers on sale from time to time at $50--take a look

yes, I saw the deluxe version of the BD break maker at Costco for around $70. Although the review of the deluxe version seems pretty bad at Amazon.

Walmart will have their anniversary sale this weekend maybe they'll have one on sale.

That's true, there are no other brands in Canada. No Panasonic, no Zojirushi, no other real brands, only B&D, which is frankly speaking pretty mean :cry:. If you need really good bread maker go to US :evil:.
