Wanted: External CD-DVD burner

Need suggestions for the best EXTERNAL CD-DVD Burner. I want to back up a large amount of pictures to DVD. I want a burner that handles both CD-RW and DVD-RW discs. Vendor must be located in Canada. I am use the Roxio Easy Media Creator Suite 9 software.

Do you want something that is more portable (eg. notebook DVD drive sized)? If not, you have more options making your own external by getting a 5.25" enclosure + drive, although I've read that people get only up to 8x DVD burns with some enclosures.

I found with my 16X burner and useing 8X to burn was the max I could use Using USB2
