I just applied to Humber College north campus on highway 10 Monday and got excepted in to the college yesterday for Air Condition and Refrigerant technition ... i find the school is confusing, weird and crappy looking compared to university of toronto i went to (st. george). The teachers are so kinda cool. i find teachers in uni/college are better then high school because i never see the teacher nag and stuff to you and don't really care lol ... i miss high school but too bad that was 2 -3 years ago.

I would agree that the school is confusing. The campus seems to have been put together all willy-nilly. All the buildings are in different angles to each other, you can't cross over to other buildings on certain floors. The signage is poor, it always seems like you have to walk around the entire building block to find your classroom. They have signs which show you the layout of the floor, but there are no room numbers all it says is "classroom". That's useful....
There is nothing nice architecturally about any of the buildings. Just plain old concrete buildings full of fluorescent bulbs.

Do any of the buildings have a 7½ floor?

There's one in every crowd...
I went to College instead of University, does that mean I'm dumb? I make a ton of my money at my job, I love my job most days, I have pretty much everything I want (except far fetched fantasies), so am I still dumb?
Am I dumb even though I start my sentences with a capital and use proper grammar (unlike a certain person in this thread)?
Am I dumb even though I will likely get a degree or two in the future and will likely find it easy to do so?
University isn't for everyone, nor is it supposed to be. If everyone went to university, a degree wouldn't be something to be proud of, for everyone would have one.

too me it isn't the amount of money you make after graduation because most college grades (especially in trades) will make more than an undergrad student.
but it is the education you receive.
i am a college graduate.
but i felt that i didn't even receive an education. doesn't matter if people in my trade my 80k. I want to pursue a University career.

To me, having a University education doesn't make you smarter, especially when it comes to the real world. If anything, I've noticed over the years that University students seem to live sheltered lives and don't really have a true appreciation for the real world. Maybe it's just Queens students that are like that and other University students across the country are different, but a very large number of the Queens students I meet are incredibly dumb.
It seems like a huge number of Queens students don't have a working brain in their head, unless they're sitting in a lecture hall or writing a thesis, that seems to be the only time they use their brains.
My EX-GF was a Queens student and she's a shining example. Very smart student with no common sense and no street smarts.
