Cliffs:

- Magnesium chassis + weather sealing
- 12mp CMOS, similar to the D300, 1.5X
- 5fps
- No status LCD (look at all that blank space around the shutter release  )
- Anti-shake with up to 4 stops claimed
- No live-view
- Up to ISO6400 with boost
- 1/8000 second shutter + 1/250 second flash sync with anti-shake off, 1/200 with anti-shake
- Eye-start AF + grip sensors
- Dual CF + Memory Stick slots
- New 16-105mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens

I'm excited. It looks a lot like the old film Maxxum 7 and the K-M 7D put together. If the initial reviews are good, I'm going to pick one up  I'll have the Maxxum 700si and the Alpha A700~

I'm probably going to pick this up in the near future. Super Steady Shot is awesome !

looks pretty good! Can you post a 100% crop? Did you do any noise reduction in PS? I see quite a bit of noise, but it's bearable at ISO 1600.

It's good to see that Sony is catching up with Canon in their ISO performance. I can't wait to see new Sony full frame DSLRs come out. Steady Shot seems to work very well. Obviously IS in body is a huge plus. I wish the 5D replacement next year will have in-body IS, pro AF, 16MP FF and live view. Competition is good!

I didn't shoot this one in RAW. It was an X.Fine JPEG, didn't touch the WB settings either... Be careful, it is a 9MB JPEG! Taken with the Minolta DT 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 (a rebranded Tamron).
