I've actually heard of this happening to other K9 cops but it was always because the cops had left the dogs in the car with the motor running and air conditioning on. The motor would stall (or A/C would fail) and the dogs would die. Still tragic but the police thought the dogs were fine in the car with AC..........this is just beyong stupid! I can't beleive he was a K9 officer!
