Why do they do this? I always thought it was so you can't steal, but I've realized that the bag can still be easily opened. Also, if the CSR is anal enough to seal my bag with the sticker and I need to get in my bag I just rip it. I've started to just walk by the person as I hate the sticker being on my bag, it's so annoying.

Why do some airports Xray your bag, and then seal it with a sticker before you walk into the airport? Its to ensure you dont add anything to it, or take anything out of it.

Yes, I'm active in that thread and agree that CC was out of line to detain him... what's with the useless posts yao416? At least say something when you're posting a link, so clarify what you mean.

It's one of the stupidest policies I've seen at a store. Sure it's great to lock up bags, but when you only have one person doing it all, you tape one person's bag, and three more people walk by without having it taped.

Funny, In all these years going to Walmart no one has ever taped my bag or asked for my receipt.
I usually just walk by the greeter- is that who puts the "stickers" on?
Maybe it is only at other Walmarts. the one i shop at the employees are pretty clueless:lol:

But I can still open my bag and stuff! I once ripped off the sticker ripped it in half, and stuck that on the price checker... needless-to-say it didn't scan barcodes anymore (well, I'm sure they removed the sticker later and it worked again)
