so yesterday afternoon i was at stc, sitting in the car while turning out of the upper level parking lot.. when i hear this loud crash.. i turned around and saw that this UHaul truck in the lane going in ran into the yellow post thing (the one that says.. maximum height blah blah blah) and tore it down :| luckily there weren't any cars behind it or they would have been crushed by the post.

anybody seen this happen before? this is the first time i have ever seen anything like it.. for a sec we thought that the truck was fleeing from the scene too because it just kept driving as if nothing had happened.. but then as we turned into best buy we could see that the truck had stopped in the parking lot :|

Happens more often than you think. People renting those trucks from those rental companies have no perception of how high those things actually are, and hit things all the time.

Yeah, people are terrible these days. It even happens with people who put things like bikes on their roof racks. They forget they have something on the roof and just plow through.

i'm thinking that the roof racks and bikes wouldn't be strong enough to tear down the whole thing though would it? maybe the bikes would get knocked off instead? :|
