The sexual comments links to porn and such seem to becoming more common and accepted here. How far are you guys going to let it go. This forum is used by many many underage kids including my own and my opinion is its not acceptable and should be kept under control. It seems to be the same posters all the time who make these comments.
Just my thoughts on something that bugs me here.

We do our best to remove it and punish people when necessary. Use the report a post function if you see something you don't think is appropriate.

It's funny when people complain about so called "adult material" on RFD on the basis that underaged kids visit this site.
It's always the underaged, immature kids posting the material in question.
I'm not saying I support sexual references on this site, I just find it ironic, that's all.

As much as I agree, it does come with an online forum. If you are easily offended, it's best to steer clear of forums like OT.
There are also the 'regular' offenders who are easily blocked within your Control Panel.
I choose to use the Report function regularly, since that's what it's there for.
In a forum I used to Admin, our Mods were required to edit the thread titles and add 'Mature Content' or "MC" to it, so that people weren't accidentally reading them if they were offended easily. Time consuming, but appreciated by the membership.

I run a forum have for years. Some younger ones hang out and sexual content is not allowed....period. You either choose to allow it or don't. This is a deal forum. If I wanted to read or see naked pics I'd go to a forum made for it.:)
As for its kids who post it, why does that matter?:?:

Sure, then peoples will think like Lasenza and all that as adult materials! I can see it now, "Look dad, why are these girls in their underwear?". *lol*

I don't think I've ever seen porn posted here. Maybe if you gave some examples.

Closest I've seen is girls in bikini's.....
...which makes it no different then if you went to a beach.
If it bugs you that much, put net nanny on your computer and block RFD. Honestly though, the mods have done a really good job keeping porn and sexual comments to a minimum...
Bad Moderators, Very Bad, Stop Doing That! :D

I think a quote from a customer when I worked tech support sums it up best:
"Where's all this porn everyone is talking about?"
Seriously I have been on this form since 2001 I think. They do a very good job I feel of keeping it clean.

This forum is well moderated. It is true that as popularity increases the 'one time' events might be increasing until the post is reported and the poster is banned, but if that is happening I haven't seen it.

There was at least one thread with a topless mermaid. Hand-drawn art or not, it's still nekkid boobies. Most people in the thread thought it was fine because it was drawn not photographed. It wasn't exactly gallery material either, so it didn't classify as "artsy".
But yes, some have taken the sexual innuendo much too far... way past innuendo and into blatantly lewd explicity.

Kids can find PRON anywhere! I don't think this site would really be the most fruitful place to look if that is what these "kids" are here looking for. Let's not forget, this site is a deals site. I don't think most kids are interested on where to get a %0 credit card or the latest deals at Costco.
To suggest that there is a problem with offensive material on this board is just silly. I can find more PRON in National Geographic magazine than on this board. I don't think the mods should bend to pressure from people with their own agenda that purport to be looking out for the "kids" interest on a board intended for people who earn incomes.
Personally I am offended by people who try to limit, censor or try to stop the free flow of ideas and communications in any way. Can I report these posts as being offensive?

I find these forums to be very tame.... even many of the supposed NSFW links aren't even that.

The only porn I have seen is a link to a porn site during the early hours of the morning. It was taken down in a hour or so.
