Does anyone have information on compatiblity with slightly older cellphones like the Samsung A920? I have a 1GB MircoSD card in it now but I'm not certain whether the MicroSD HC spec is backwards compatible.

i would STRONGLY suggest you read up on your phone before buying this card. Not all phones or PDA's can use it. However if you need an ULTRA tiny storage USB key. add Dealextreme's micro SD reader :)

i have read that my phone (HTC TYTN) with Windows Mobile 6 will accept the card.

Most (if not all) MicroSD cards usually ship with an adapter and you don't have to buy them seperately.

Yes, on a related note, CycloDS is fully SDHC compatible and should have no problem using this card. The only question is whether the card is fast enough to eliminate slow down in certain games.

You beat me to it.

On a side note, SDHC is fully backwards compatible. So any SDHC devices will accept standard SD cards. However, SD devices are not forward compatible.... so older model phones/device will not accept this format.

And finally, is 60US really that great of a deal? I got my 2GB for 24.99 after price matching NCIX... and microsd is so amazingly small I can fit the second card in my wallet... (if u'll even fill up 4GB's worth of DS stuff).

TYTN II aka Kaiser should come with Windows Mobile 6, which fully supports SDHC, where as Windows Mobile 5 doesn't.
