Does anyone know any good order fulfillment services who work with small businessines?

I'm trying to find someone who can warehouse, provide customer order support and order fulfillment. Basically I want to outsource the whole process to someone.

This would be for two upstart companies with business in Canada in the USA via the internet.

For those who have been using the fulfillment service, I have some questions for you:

Say ABC is the business selling the goods, and FC is the fulfillment company who warehouse and ship the goods.

1) Is the FC "transparent" to the end customers? Does the shipping label show sender as FC or ABC? Does it show FC's address or ABC's address?

2) For international order, who will be shown on the commercial invoice as exporter? FC r ABC?

3) Does FC issue a receipt to the end customer, or does ABC issue a receipt?

1) Is the FC "transparent" to the end customers? Does the shipping label show sender as FC or ABC? Does it show FC's address or ABC's address?Usually show ABC as the sending name but FC's address, so that undeliverable packages are returned to FC. However, I'm sure most FCs would be willing to put ABC's address on the package as well - it makes little difference to them, assuming FC and ABC are in the same city. If they are not, the carriers may complain.

In our scenario, we have the orders shipped as ABC c/o FC, 123 FC's Address, etc.

2) For international order, who will be shown on the commercial invoice as exporter? FC r ABC?ABC

3) Does FC issue a receipt to the end customer, or does ABC issue a receipt?ABC. FC is doing nothing excepting holding ABC's inventory and shipping it where ABC asks it to. FC does not bill or invoice anyone but ABC for nothing but shipping and processing.

Thank for your answer, Nabeel

I have one more question. So, does the commercial invoice shows like the shipping label too? Like below:

Commercial invoice
Seller: ABC c/o FC
Seller Addr: FC Address

Or does it show
Commercial invoice
Seller: ABC
Seller Addr: ABC Address

Coz if it's showing the lower one, it won't match the shipping label, right?

I just talked to a fulfillment house (the one shows up first place in the google ads), and they said they will use

FC name and FC Address for both shipping label and commercial invoice. I wonder if how would that work because it looks like ABC sell the stuff to FC and FC sell and export it to customers.

You'll have to ask them, the company I use for fulfillment, I email them the commerical invoice for the few international shipments I do and they stick it in with the shipping label. All shipping labels (domestic and international) always show my company name c/o the fulfillment company and the fulfillment company's address.

Hi, If anybody is looking for order fullfillment centre, I am going to open one in a month period. It is going to be in GTA area. I have a strong background in fullfillment centre so I decided to open one who will support small buinsess, especially e-commerce business who is looking to outsource the whole process via internet.

Just to let you know, as a start-up company, we want to establish reputation, so our price will be very generous and fair ,plus we could offer some free services. Just work it out with me. I am a fair entrepenuer so anything is workable as long as we could establish a win-win situation for both sides. I just quit my job and spent a lot of work in preparing this business. I am currently looking for enough clients to start. like I said anything is workable as long as it is fair for both parties. No job is too small and too large for us.
Please PM me with your average every day traffic order and which service you will need. We don't have a fix price as we want to attract a strong client to work with.

Thanks,

And we trust you with our expensive inventory because.....you're just another pretty face behind an anonymous internet moniker?

At MINIMUM, if I'm interested, I want to see proof that my inventory will be insured at your premises. I want to see the policy and I will call to verify it. That is, protection against fire, water damage, THEFT, etc....

Yes of course your inventory will be protected by insurance. I am not doing business for clients that don't have insurance net especially if they trust me with their inventory. It is a very standart procedure and I want my clients to generate profit and not a loss. If they generate a loss, how they are going to pay me for the service? All inventory is under tight security all emplyeess will be checked for incoming and outcoming. Plus there is security camera and it is all under insurance coverage.
