Sorry, didn't know where to put this thread.

I need a digital scale for business and considering this one on ebay:

I can't find anything cheaper local, but I am little worried about importing it from USA. Is it safe, what about custom fees etc. Any help will be appreciated. thanks

I bought mine at Costco 6 months ago. I don't know if they still have any in stock.

I purchased my postal scale on eBay too. Staples didn't have a good selection, and neither did Costco. So I ended up buying on eBay (shipped from USA). It's very accurate and works well. Just wish I didn't pay extra for those weights for balancing since I never used them and don't know how either (i only bought them because I saw complaints from buyers saying it doesn't come with balancing weights on the seller's feedback).

Yes, always buy from a seller with good feedback and a high percentage of positive feedback (eg. 99%-100% positive). Be sure to pay with a credit card, especially if the seller has less than perfect feedback. In case the seller scams you or item isn't as described, just do a chargeback with your credit card company to get your money back. After being scammed a dozen times I finally realized why it's not worth saving the conversion rates paying with US paypal funds. If seller ships right away it would normally take 1-2 weeks to arrive or up to 2-3 weeks if it is inspected by customs. If there is a Canadian seller I would buy from them instead but selection isn't too good here as you probably noticed.
