The picnic is 2 weeks away and we need to get some banners done for it. Has anyone done banners before? Any recommendations or referrals? We're thinking foam core or vinyl for the banners themselves. Whatever will do the job and is most cost effective :)
If you're in the banner business, feel free to send me a PM...

Hello,
The campus group i was working with tried these guys http://www.captainprint.com/index.html.
Very professional service and it wasn't expensive at all. We had a vinyl banner, about 6' x 4' and it cost us about 100 dollars. Our banner was all very large bold color text. They also put holes in it, with grommets so you can tie it with a string.
All you do really is give them a photoshop file on a usb or email to them, but emailing the file might be too big.

Staples can get a variety done at a decent price: http://www.staplescopyandprint.ca/services/signage/
Or you can just do some large-format printing, laminate it and attach it to some form core if it'll be more cost effective than purchasing a sign.

Got it done through a family member of one of our employees. I got Captain Print down to about $8.50 per square foot with quantity discounts.
