you'd be lucky to get $200 for that, your video card is where the bulk of that will come from.

Thanks. I'm selling it to some family. So I'm not really trying to maximize profit.

Just want a reasonable idea of what it is worth.

2500+ - $20
Big Typhoon - I don't think you have a Big Typhoon. I don't believe it's compatible with Socket A.
2x512MB - $60
X1600 AGP - $60
A7V600 - $30

Less as a system.

I would say it depends on the quality of the powersupply and case as well.

I would say C$160-$180 ... BTW, it's still a fairly capable system, especially if you overclock it a bit.

How much would the average person pay for this?

Athlon 3200+ XP
Aftermarket CPU fan keeps nice and cool (forget what kind)
1gb dual channel Kingston HyperX DDR400 (2x512)
ASUS A8N-X Deluxe Socket A Mobo (nforce 2 chipset, gigE ethernet, digital audio out)
Radeon 9800Pro 128mb
DVD Burner
Logisys case (2 120mm fans)
500W Coolermaster PSU
Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP2 (real, valid license)
Microsoft Wireless keyboard/mouse combo

Nice breakdown. Thanks.

It is a Big Typhoon: http://www.thermaltake.com/product/cooler/retail/cl-p0114/cl-p0114.asp#specification

I was actually thinking of asking $150 or less for it all. As it's for my sister who wants to give it to my niece to play with.

Thanks again.

? No case or power supply. These parts are going into a another system with a PS and case already

I'm guessing $220 at most based on what everyone else said about my system.

I have a few of these systems running around ... still very capable machines for everyday use.
