when i move my mouse around on my new lg l226wa-bn it seems to form trails. is this normal? because games/movies/text looks amazing even in action scenes and scrolling up and down doesn't leave trails. is this ghosting? the trails aren't big. like 1-2mm from the edge of the cursor. i am using vista if that makes a difference.
any help would be great.
thanks in advance

Check your mouse setup in Control Panel or with the software that came with the mouse. You may have mouse trails enabled.

Is your monitor connected through VGA or DVI?

I had this problem on my laptop twice.
First time I sent it out to get the LCD replaced, second time it happened I just left it.
It went away in like a week though.
Not sure it'd go away for you but you can always have it replaced.
For me, the ghosting effect was due to the red pixels not fading fast enough.

ok well i checked at FS BB and even costco and all 22" monitors do it. and you samsung fanboys even your lord and saviour the 226bw S panel even did it, i guess i was just looking wayyyyy too close for issues. all these internet reviews make me so paranoid now. i liked it better 3 years ago when ever i bought anything it was great enough to me.
