Look at how it separated. I don't want to throw away these speakers, so is there a way to fix it?

Could I put some sort of compound in the gap so that the air doesn't leak through when playing music?
Im not worried about how it will look after DIY fixing.

Someone with speaker repair knowledge, please help!

Thanks

go to Canadian Tire and get rubber epoxy (can't remember exactly what it was called)

I've only had to repair subwoofer rubber surrounds, and for that, i've used clear nail polish. I've heard of others on the car forums that they used the stuff but I haven't used it myself (never had that big of a hole).

The hole is hugggeee, but yeah i'll try that nail polish.....you think if I shuv some silicon in there it would work?

it would damp out any movement, but would it bond with that plastic cone?
