I saw a listing of motherboards for sale that say they support tualatin socket 370s and another selling socket 370 cpus that say tualatin as well. What is special about the word/branding? I was under the impression that if you just had to worry about matching the pins of the cpu to the motherboard. Also, are the prices good? because I havent seen many other tualatin brand stuff anywhere and wonder if they are hard to come by. Would I make money off using these parts to build some cheap systems for resale?

See:

Also there is mention of some overclocking possibilities with the cpus. Would I be capable of that if i bought this set? and how exactly would I go about doing so? can any one write me a how to? Thanks.

Socket 370 = Pentium 3 and the first Celeron = Released in 1998.

They are almost a decade old and near useless.

You can get used Athlon XPs and even an Athlon 64 like the 3000+ for just $30-40 instead of $10, and end up with a system that is two-three times as fast.
