As many RFDers know Zellers is continuing some of their clearance which includes hardware and automotive. I was going through the Zellers in Lynn Valley (North Vancouver) and noted a pile of GE soft White CFL marked yellow tag at 1.00. With the extra 50% off the CFLs should scan up to 50 cents each.
The CFL are the tri-linear style (ie NOT the spiral).
the packaging is different from the photo below but the bulb looks the same. the packaging is white cardboard with clear plastic stand up packaging. Sorry but I didn't grab a picture.

They had two wattages 13W (60W equivalent) and 20W (75W equivalent).

The bulbs were placed in a different section from all the other bulbs so you may need to look around to see if there are any left. At least one package had a broken bulb so inspect before buying.
They also had some regular bulbs in packs of 8/12 for 1 and 3$ each before the 50% discount.
As with any Zeller clearance YMMV.
