An employee at the Port Coquitlam Costco told a friend that this is a test at their location only. 2 Adult Cineplex movie admissions, two drinks and one popcorn for 21.99. No restrictions and I believe valid until sometime in 2009. Basically get free snacks. I don't know if any tax(es) were charged.

So?

That's a good deal I guess, I'm currently getting tix for like 7 bucks each from my mom's work.

I usually go for a combo as well, I don't know how large the sizes are so that mite be a little

You should just stick to getting it at your mom's work. $7 x 2 is only $14. $22 is a rip. Food is a rip. Just bring your own food/drinks.

$22 - $14 = $8. Paying $8 for 2 drinks & 1 popcorn is a huge rip off.

It depends if you can get $7 tix. If not, at 8.50 - 9.50 per admission, it isn't a bad deal with 2 drinks and a popcorn for 2 adults admission - 22. However, if you don't like to eat (get rip) in the movie. Then just get normal tix.

Just goto AMC. The employees are told not to stop you from bringing in anything.

Best deal is to go before noon at AMC $6 for whatever starts before noon. All the stoned teenagers are home sleeping too, makes for a nice, quiet theatre unlike the Cineplex/Famous Players with the sticky floors.
