Looking at purchasing a window air conditioner this evening to battle the scorching temperatures.
My apartment is 1350 sq/ft, mostly open concept.
I figure a 12,000BTU A/C should be enough to keep it comfortable, I am not looking for something that will turn my place into a fridge.
Anyone have any recommendations on brands to buy, or to watch out for?
My budget is up to 600$ + applicable materials (plexiglass, etc)
Most importantly, a unit that does not sound like a jet engine running 24/7.
