Hi guys, I am in the market for a vacuum and wanted to get some feedbacks from users' past experience before purchasing. Thanks!
At the moment, I am looking at 3 vacuums and all of which are from Costco. the first two are from Eureka and theses seem to be very standard and nothing special to it. The last one is from Bissell and it's got HEPA filter; sounds like it's got the best value to it. Any suggestion/feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks =)

I recently read in a magazine that these "cyclone" vacuums are no where near as good as they advertise, and while their suction power might last a little longer than bags, or be a little cleaner, they are in essence, not a big deal. Recently a friend moved and had to buy one, they ended up going with a traditional bag vacuum from Kenmore. Their parents had one that has worked fine for 10 years and they already killed one cyclone one 3 years ago, the last time they moved. They figured, why fix what ain't broke.:cheesygri

I used to own this vacuum for a while...good suction...very good vacuum for the price...but I had to return it because I think I smelt something burning inside...I didn't buy it again...but I starting to think i should have...after trying out 5 vacuums :|

Out of the three..I would definitely choose this vacuum...

Get a Dyson. I thought spending so much for a vacuum was ridiculous but when i first used it I was surprised how much dirt it sucked out from the carpets. It was simply amazing.. I could not believe the amount of dirt.

I am sure a Dyson is great and all...but it's also 5x to 7x the price that the OP is looking at...

Hm. I am not looking to spend THAT much $$ on a vacuum. I am living in a rental townhouse and I will be done school in 2 years and will be outta here after that. So I don't plan on investing THAT much $$ on a vacuum.

I have an older Bissell model(until my little nephew broke it)as well as the one shown in the picture, they work really well. On the contrary, an older model of Eureka which I had returned after couple uses last summer, is heavier and noiser compared to the Bissell
