Hello, all,
I have some $US term deposit in TD will be at maturity soon. My current interest rate is 4.25% per year. I am wondering if any one knows any bank has better rate than this. Which bank is the best choise? I prefer sort of GIC/term deposit that I can still use that money at urgent situation (just without the interest). Thanks.

ICICI has 5% for USD savings, but it has some bad stories (I'm personally okay with it)

ICICI has 5% APR saving. but not good reputation.
For big banks, BMO USD 30 day term has 4.4% APR is a good choice.

Thanks all. Just found that HSBC has a one year rate 4.7%. I am going for that one.

If you *really* want better interest, and better tax treatment, with risk that is identical to a US GIC/CD, and better liquidity, then do a search on the thread for "single stock futures".
