Anyone know of (free) sites I can download historical NAV for canadian mutual funds?

i don't think you'll find this publicized anywhere

you can call the fund company to request the NAVPS on a particular day if you like

Try the website for the individual fund companies. I just looked up Fidelity.ca and they offer historical fund prices since inception of each fund. It shows up on a table rather than in downloaded format, but you can copy/paste into excel.

SEDAR is for prospectuses (prospecti? lol), financial statements, material changes, etc.

Try Fundlibrary @ http://www.fundlibrary.com/tools/nav_lookup.asp. You can get the NAVPS for any Canadian fund on any trading day. They used to have a tool to download the entire NAVPS history for a given fund, but their link seems to be broken - I sent them an email to inform them of the bug, but they never replied.

I am currently working on a Perl script that will use http://www.fundlibrary.com/tools/nav_lookup.asp to download the NAVPS history from date A to date B...
