Brand new Suit

I have this Italian suit i got as a gift and it was bought from Harry Rosen. The brand name is Pierluigi Polleti but sadly it doesnt fit me. The shoulders are too wide for me they are a size 42. Its a dark (navy) blue pinstripe suit and has never been worn. I have the receipt for it...it was given to me incase i need to exchange but they dont accept returns or exchanges apparently. So i'm looking to sell it for $550 obo...its retail price was almost $1100...harry rosen did tell me infact that any and all alterations on suits purchased from them will be done for free if you need to have it brought in or altered in any way. They dont however adjust the shoulder width. Pictures and other measurements available upon request.

If you want, you should talk to the manager at the store and see if he will exchange it. I bought a Zegna suit that was altered and afterward did not fit well (even though all the sales people said it was fine it felt uncomfortable). They said they usually don't exchange altered suits, but they accommodated me in this case. I know it's a unique case (since the sales person basically sold me the wrong size) but I guess you can try your luck if you want.

well harry rosen wont take the suit back...the manager was bein a real a-hole ... so the suit is still for sale...its a great suit ppl
