i seen 25lb plates @ walmart for $19.90
They have large holes in them for easy carry. You can even use the plates alone for trap raises, delt raises, or whatever other exercise.

You might want to check out fitness source or fitness depot.
Now to high jack your thread
Does anyone know anywhere that sells cheap bumper plate weights? (Olympic weighlifter weights?)

if you just want it for the weights and workout, head to a nearest play it again sports, or some sort of resell used items store and pickup a cheap set there.

Classifieds, craigslist, Buy&sell paper. Likely find an unused set for a fraction of the new price.

There was also this amazing deal from NiMSo which lasted a while but appears to be sold now:

I'm not sure if the prices are the same for all their stores but one Canadian Tire I recently visited sells dumbbells for less than a dollar per pound... around $20 for 25 lb.
Sport Chek has the worst plate prices I've seen.

Second hand is the cheapest route. I picked up almost 400lbs of olympic weights, bench, EZ curl bar and again bench, leg extention for 200 bux or something in that price range. I have continued to add pieces that I wanted when I found them cheap. Now I have a squat rack, hyper extentions for my back, lat pull down machine that I can use for tri's as well.
My most costly piece was my pec deck and that is because I could not find it used.

Curious...if you have all that other good stuff you listed, why did you think you also needed a ' pec deck ' ?
How much did that ' pec deck ' cost you btw ?

48 cents / pound @ Fitness Depot www.fitnessdepot.ca
Check out the Northern Lights power rack. Very sturdy, heavy gauge steel. Very well priced.

Bumper plates can be special ordered from Fitness Depot as well, just go in and talk to a manager.

When I was in Highskool I loved the pec deck machine we had and felt it was a nice finishing exercise when doing chest. I know you can get similar results from doing dumbbell flys but it was a personal choice. I think it ran me bout 250 including taxes. It looks like this one here.

Of course now that I got it I find it a pain in the ass to move it around, and it hurts my shoulder lol. I tend to do cable cross overs ( I made my own ), dumbbells and a bit less peck deck. And if somebody was going to ask I do flat bench and incline with the bar for primary chest development.

Fitnessdepot and fitnesssource carry crap items and over priced junk!
Best bench is bodysolid gfid71 and buy power rack. May be you can buy from BC and ship to ontario. Because prices in BC are lot lot cheaper!.

Yup, depot often sells plate for lower - they treat it as a "loss leader". Problem is, they are often out of stock - we may not be the cheapest, but we usually have it available...
To Clarify: rubber coated plates are not considered bumper plates at all and should not be used for olympic lifting or you risk damaging the plates, the floor or both! Rubber coated plates are mainly used to protect the racking and flooring under normal use...
That said, some bumper plates may use a combination of metal/rubber and some such as Kraiberg are solid rubber, but both are quite durable.
