I've thrown it in the wash, used baking soda, just doesn't help. Play one game and it's back to stink....

Anyone ever use Febreeze on your hat? Is it safe???? or will I go bald?

all these comments of OP taking a shower or washing your hair DOES in fact help.. sweat smells because of the dirt and bacteria on your skin. so youre most likely just sweating in your hat non stop. stay clean.
febrezing your hat is more safe than putting it in the washer i would say...

I really don't know, but see Febreze is very good but beware pet owners (http://www.ciao.co.uk/Febreeze__Review_5105831). If it causes baldness in animals ... :|

I agree. Febreeze is very dangerous for most animals to inhale

wash it repeatedly in hot water with lots of detergent. Hang pine tree air fresheners from the brim.

Use vinegar and you will see the smell go away. It does not leave a smell once you take it out of the wash.

put a condom over your head before wearing the hat.

Once something that's sprayed with Febreeze gets wet it will start to stink again.

honestly, a thread on this is jokes. buy a new hat and that should solve the problem. wash your hair every night and if you're up for it, shave your head for the summer. it's nice and breezy when you do.

seriously, febreeze is dangerous for pets???
