My computer broke a little over a month ago and I NEEDED to replace it ASAP... so I got the E6600... now, the 2.66 version is like $50 cheaper and the quad core Q6600 is just like $25 more than the dual core I bought.

Technology prices follow a similar law as cars - just as the value of the car drops 25% when you drive it off the lot, the current price of the product drops as soon as your return policy expires. At the same time, a new version of the technology comes out :D
