I plugged in the G&M code, along with a couple tropicanas and got 45 miles in total (25+10+10).

25 miles, depending on what you redeem it for, can range between .20 to 1.25.

Not worth it this time, unless you buy their product regardless.

last time you need to buy only 1 product plus the bonus code to get 100 bonus.

this time you need 2 product PINs and only get 30 bonus.

The first 100 bonus you had to buy one product. In April.

The second 100 bonus you had to buy 2 products like this offer. (I guess you missed this one.) In May.

Last 25 bonus was a truly free Bonus that you just had to enter the code to get the bonus. (End of July G&M offer)

Then this offer get 30 with 2 products.

Still a good offer because you will get 50 miles for about $6.00 on avg. If you buy gas at Esso you get 2 miles for $6.00. But then again is anything every Free. But if you drink oj and eat life or other quaker products (Really Pepsi Products) then you get the bonus.

I guess we will have to wait and see if the next offer in the Aug 20th G&M free or another buy and get bonus. Most likely. Until then Bye for now. And thanks for the code.

I put in 3 Quaker PINs for 130 miles, and at the same time I put in a Tropicana PIN. The result was a total of 160 miles, so the extra Tropicana PIN was worth 30 miles. If both the 100 mile code and double miles promotion worked together, I expected a total of 180 miles, so somehow the 2 promotions can be combined but not for the full expected amount.

Seems they are getting suspicious of people using alot of PIN's. My account is under review so it suspended temporarily. They ask for the UPC codes for each of the products I entered, also ask if i have a receipt and where I bought the products. I don't keep my receipts, UPC codes, etc. So looks like they may think I am scamming. I bought a bunch of yogurt bars when they were on sale last week, bought some Corn Bran cereal a couple of weeks ago.

At Loblaws this week, Quaker Chewy Bars are 2$ each box, all flavors, including those with the Aeroplan promotion. What makes this a very good deal are those 75 cents off coupons right there. There was a ton of those coupons at my Loblaws in St-Sauveur, and they are good until March 2008.

So basically you pay 1.25$.. I don't remember seeing them so cheap.

The code was printed in the Aeroplan newsletter link (http://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/dawson/tangerine1007/index.php).

From what I read, the above example of 4 + 4 + bonus code was a waste. The ad says the bonus code can be used upto 3 times by the same person. So enter 4 + bonus and then enter 4 + bonus to get 460 points.

I haven't done this yet, but that is how I read the promotion.

By the way, Life cereal is on sale at Centerpoint Zellers (Yonge & Steeles) for $1.00 per box!!! The sign says $1.97, but the cash register came up as just $1. Good way to stock up on Quaker codes!

It was on sale since 2 weeks ago on all OJ varieties. I was surprised to find it still on sale yesterday, but only with the GROVESTAND left (others are back to regular price). A store clerk told me their store stocked too much on the last sale thus needs to get rid of the current stock fast.

I've had that happen twice before. You don't need to mail in your receipts, but you need to give them your UPC code I think to prove it.

Anyway, they said that mistakes do happen and that they would reactivate my account immediately. They did not request proof of purchase for my current pin or any of my other ones. I was not required to send anything in to them.

They told me that if such a situation occurs again, my account may be suspended and/or points earned through the program will be voided by Aeroplan.

So yeah, that's what happened to me. I've only earned about 100 Aeroplan Miles from the program though.

It looks like they have changed all the Oatmeal to Go (Maybe all the products) Pins to 25 miles. As yesterday I entered 2 pins from old boxes with just the 10 miles on the box. But the site gave me 25 miles each. Last week the only gave me 10 miles from another box.

It looks like they have changed all the Oatmeal to Go (Maybe all the products) Pins to 25 miles. As yesterday I entered 2 pins from old boxes with just the 10 miles on the box. But the site gave me 25 miles each. Last week the only gave me 10 miles from another box.

25 miles for all product except Tropicana OJ which still only gives you 10 without the bonus code. Funny they don't give you the extra 15 with the bonus just 11.

i've been waiting for at least a couple mths for a new promo to pop up too :(

so many f/ the Quaker granola bar deals in the past


keep in mind the codes supposedly expire at end of yr (as per fine print of box), and last i checked, they limit max. of 8 or 10 codes entered per acct. per day
so if you have lots, make sure you prepare in advance and enter them by early Dec. (if they're not having bonus events by that time)

Don't know if they still do this, but I tried saving up my PINs once and they limit the number of deposits you can make in a day to 5 or something like that. They may have stopped that, but you might want to check the fine print.

You have 7 years to use your miles. (I think) If you read the fine print. You will only lost the miles that are 7 years or older. But don't take my word on it. Talk to CS at aeroplan

Just FYI, the bonus points appear to be really limited to the "Tropics" blend of Tropicana juices - not the regular orange juice; I just deposited 175 Aeroplan miles worth of Tropicana OJ and Quaker bar codes.

Factoid: the codes distinguish OJ from Costco ;)

If a code is use twice they lock both accounts and ask for more info.

I'm sure you would be able to get away with it the first time it happen to your account. But if it keeps happen they will just close your account.

If you try to enter codes from Tropicana Orange Juice, you will only get 5 Aeroplan miles; even if the code is from a package that said you will get 10.

Tropicana has changed the value of Aeroplan miles on new packages and at the same time de-valued the codes from old packaging.

It's acceptable to have new packaging with lower value miles, but it is totally unacceptable to give only 5 miles when the package said 10.

With the points being worth a penny each at the most, its just not worth entering them any more. And then you need a gazzillion points to even buy a simple thing! Not nice for a big company like Pepsico to pull something like this - I mean the enter a 10 point pin and it comes out as a 5 point pin - not nice at ALL!!!!

Cutting back Tropicana to 5 is just laughable, it's already strange that orange juice costs more than the other products most of the time and gets fewer points.

But, like the poster above, I also have accumulated a good few points so far from the Pepsi promotion, I just logged in and I'm at about 1900.

I just saw and availed of an offer I hadn't heard about before when I logged into ChooseMore:

Hmm, I have about 50 coupon codes from various Tropicana / Quaker products. I obtained the 75 bonus points on a deposit on my (only) ChooseMore account after entering 3 PINS without any problem.

Perhaps Pepsico (parent of Quaker, Tropicana, Frito Lay, etc.) has finally implemented their advanced EDI / sentiment analysis and consumer control system where their RFID embedded products interface with biometric parameters of customers (sweat, saliva, wireless DNA analysis) and non-intrusive systems (facial recognition in retail stores), the JV with Bing/Google to track your attempt to double dip?

P.S. On a more serious note, you did keep the proof of purchase for those items? The TOS for the promotion does mention that they can require a receipt for the purchase of the items from which the PINs were used. Just a detail that may help if you decide to try and follow-up with them.
