If you're good looking, people expect you to be cool, talk, and fun 100% of the time. It's annoying.

Ugly people, however, aren't under the constant pressure. If you're ugly, people don't care if you talk to them or not; they don't care what you do.

Let's say there's an ugly dude is sitting in a room, or at a bar. That person can just sit alone if he wanted to be.
if he wanted to because nobody will approach him, so he can just do what he wants with no pressure. On the other hand, good-looking people can't enjoy sitting alone in peace. There's always someone you have to talk to, entertain, etc.

I have no idea what the point of this thread is...anyway, OP, you forget that people have choice. you can choose to do whatever you want to do. just because you're ugly doesn't mean people expect you to sit in the corner and do nothing. just because you're good looking doesn't mean people expect you to be a social butterfly.

I'm sure we all have personal examples where ugly people are popular and attractive people are introverted.

yeah.. well I'd meet people that judge by the book's cover. the way you dress. jeans and t-shirt, so what I'm cormfortable with it.

I can look very cold and shrugg off comments. If we were both together and had someone approach us, I gave a blank stare and you were the one who smiled and thus looked more friendly, it's no wonder you'll get the attention.

Dude.. what your saying is true about the inside... but no matter what... EVERYONE judges in one way or another by the cover... Whether they are ugly, overweight, pretty, what race they are, their haircut, clothing...

If no one judged by the cover... the fashion industry would flop, there would be no trends, haircuts would be pointless, stereotypes wouldnt exist (which is impossible) etc etc...

If you're in a bad mood and want to be left alone on the inside, but you're too timid to project that to people, you're more than likely a bit of a doormat in your life. That's all wonderful and nice and fuzzy, but it has nothing to do with sexual attraction. It's almost purely physical. I don't look at someone at the beach and think 'Oh my god.. I bet she's so beautiful on the inside. I want to take her into the bushes and talk about life". Without physical attraction all you have is a friend.
