Ok, I have to rant for a minute.
Why is it that when you are on Future Shop's website and are signed in that it kicks you out after like 2 gooooooood dammmm minutes-GRRRRRRRRRRR
Send a note to their webmaster and that has done nothing. What a pain in the assssssss. I could see if you were idol or something for more than 5 minutes, but after 2 minutes of browsing? Come on now-

Are you buying something? Why not just log in when you're ready to pay?

If you're doing other stuff like wish lists, etc, then well, that sucks. :|

yes that's it. Wish list etc.
I would just sign in when buying as I know how bad their site is-lol
But when trying to play on the wish list etc, it blows-:)

I don't think it is Rogers or whoever.
FS's website has always been 'a little' behind the rest of the world really.:-0

Or yesterday at 2pm..."we're optimizing the website. Pls come back in 2 hours."

Why not optimize it at 2am?

After doing some testing, it looks like they have some issues with their shopping cart code. If you go to certain pages, it'll recognize you as logged in, however, other pages, it does not. For example, if I login and go to the Computer Accessories page, it gives me a "Log out" button, but if I go to the "Digital Memory" page, it says I have to log in again. My guess is that the session isn't always being started. Bad code! Bad!

That's PR speak for "Yeah, we hired some developers who were either in over their head, or weren't as consistent as we hoped in their programming and our Senior Developer didn't properly audit all the code, and now we're dealing with the fallout."

As an aside, anyone else annoyed by that "Expert" widget they got on their homepage now? He kind of creeps me out too.

Experts?? Hmmmm-creepy for sure-:)

I get the same thing when on their website. One page says I'm in, then boom, I'm not. It sucks because the login doesn't 'remember you'-GRRRRR

Yeah, if you go to their main page, there's a widget in the upper left for "Ask an Expert". Not only does it play audio by default, but the guy just sits there, waiting for you, trying to get your attention and he STARES at you. I'm waiting for the movie "I know what you did at Futureshop last summer" to come out now.

2 Solutions:

1. Be PATIENT...and it will be working when they fix it.

2. Go to the nearest store and buy the item.

Simple as that.

Yes, we know that.
Fix it?? It's been like that for years and they haven't done nothing?
I have emailed a couple of times to no avail.
Sign in when needed I guess.
