Hey all,
I'm trying to get into fishing again - its been about 3-4 years since I've last gone. I'm looking for some new fishing spots that are within the GTA, maybe on Lake Ontario or some other minor lakes/rivers in the area.

As such, I was hoping that people can chip in and we can share our fishing spots. Note: I don't have a boat so I am looking for places to fish from the shore.

Here are a couple that me and my dad (used to) go to:

Rouge River Area (down a big hill and under some train tracks)
Where: Approximately Port Union and Lawrence
Fish: Rock Bass, Carp

Bradford (quick drive up 404, theres a floating dock)
Where: Yonge St. south of Bradford
Fish: Perch, Crappie

go to the toronto islands or harbourfront

pike, bass, sunfish, carp. people think theres no fish because theyre in the city, but theres lots of fish to be caught. wouldnt eat anything from around there though unless u wanna grow an extra leg or arm!
