Battlefield 2142 help needed

Does anyone know if a used battlefield 2142 that might have already been installed and registered will work on a different computer if installed again?

It will, but you can only use the original account to which it was registered to.

But how will I know the account? will it say when I install the game? thx

If you bought the game second-hand, you'll probably have to use the original owner's EA account, and create a new BF2142 soldier with it.
