Right across from it there's a small parking lot for the Discount rental company. Its fairly cheap there. My mom works for Nestle.

What you up to over there?

I think you mean the National/Alamo car rental. How much is it there? The cheapest I know of is the Green-P on Sheppard, just west of Beecroft for $8/day.

To the OP, try canvassing the neighborhood for driveway space.

park at the dominion save-a-centre, in the same plaza as the national gym. Just buy a .99 Cent YOP, and have them validate your parking. I do it all the time when I go to the Provincial Court House down the block from there. Free I Tell Ya~!

Just found out its a messy situation now. There's a dispute, a side business (car washing), and buy outs going on currently on that land. Stuff changes daily.

right beside the Nestle building there's a lot which is $10 per day, no time limit, it's probably your best bet.

the problem with GreenP is that there's a time limit: 6pm. and yes, they do check times very militantly, I got a "courtesy charge" ticket which was tagged 6:28pm.
i work overtime regularly so only got to my car at 7pm.

Yes but I think they gate it at night and lock you in or out. And because its for the pompous crowd, I'm sure there would be follow-ups by parking/law enforcement.

im in the little parking lot right next to the nestle building and i'm currently paying 10$/day to park here

something cheaper would be wayy cooler tho...
maybe i'll ask a homeowner if i can rent a spot on his driveway for like 50 bucks a month?
that would save me a bunch of money

another thing is, it has to be close to the 401 side, there is no point in me travelling all the way north and then subwaying it back down south...unless it's walking distance (15 mins isnt too bad)

i'm in the building from 9 to 5 so that may be a problem no?

i'm sure it can work for an hour or two but 8 hours straight?

Parking at Finch station is easier, assuming there's still space.

Finch costs money though...unless you got a metro pass...

At Fairview.. free TTC parking after 930 am in level 4 and 5...if before... it is $3 to access the parking lot prior to 930 am....if you dont want to pay....there are many spots to choose from...and they never check.....at least in the four years I used to do it.....

A word of advice, if you send out flyers, don't state your price if you want some contacts. If you look up craigslist or whatever, the asking price seems to be about $100/month (still saves you 50%).

I've done it for 6 months straight
plus I found some dominion nametag in the parking lot and I just kept putting it on my dashboard and ever since doing such, the parking guys have always skipped past my car when they do a parking lot audit check.

I thought your idea was pretty good until I read this post. Hopefully you were getting a free pass not because of your name tag scam.

Go door to door in the neighbourhood. Many people sell their driveways to people that work in the neighbourhood for 50-80/month depending on how close they are to yonge. I did it in true RFD fashion. I got a PM :P
