Through 8 innings so far, the Toronto Blue Jays have left 29 men on base individually. Vernon Wells and Glaus with 6 each.

The previous record was 20, which was set by the Yankees 41 years ago.
man, don't make me think about it. we need to beat them at least once this series.

In one game?? How is that possible? You're telling they ended each inning with the bases loaded?

no no.... now that i look it over i dont think its a record because it was 29 individual.
Wells left 7 men on, so he had a chance to cash in 7, Glaus left 6 on.
This is the highest in the MLB this season, but i cant get the right number for the record of all time.

Talk about a misleading thread.
It's impossible to leave 29 men on base. You would need to leave the bases loaded for 10 innings straight. While it's not completely impossible, it's just never going to happen.

Not really. What if one guy strikes out with the bases loaded...and so does the next guy after him? Thats 6 right there in one inning.

That is what the Jays did, they left 29 individually. I think he trying to say that it is nearly impossible to leave 29 men as a TEAM on base. So 3 guys on for a whole inning, for 10 innings. Now that as a team would be in the 90 range.

They would do the right thing by re-evaluating management at season's end
I will not shed a tear if J.P. and Gibby happen to be shown the door. Nothing to go but up from here on out, as they like to say.
