I am new to tennis and i am going to try it out so what do I look for when buying a tennis racquet??

a light one? a heavy one?

IMO, i prefer the lightest racket, largest size possible, along with very, very strong strings. thats the best combo. make sure you feel the grip and take a few swings in store to see if it feels comfortable, if not move on to the next. but definitely make sure the strings are strong or else when you play youre going to have trouble hitting.
