Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I want to buy the Samsung 22" wide screen LCD monitor. It has a DVI/HDCP connector that I would like to hook up my ps3 to. My only concern is would I get sound from that? I know DVI along does not give any sound, but with the HDCP would I get any sound? Thanks in advance!

Sound will only pass through an HDMI cable. There should be an optical out on your PS3 for sound.

Well you COULD just use analog....
RCA to headphone jacks will do the trick too, for a more affordable cost.

You're better off anyway. If sound was passed through DVI, it'd be going into crappy 1-2W monitor speakers. If it even has speakers that is.
