so lets say my wii is modified, and lets say I own a copy of redsteel (original). Can I burn a copy of it, and put it on this card so I will not have to put the disc in to run it?

Im not too sure about that, but theres little reason to. Considering that the size of the game is greater than 4 gigs. Its much more economical to just use dvds vs 4gig sd cards.

Basically you put a memory card into the gecko adapter. Then you put it into the wii's memory slot. You run a program that reads your game disc, and it starts to copy it to the memory card. If your memory card isnt big enough, it breaks it up to sections. You copy the sections to the computer and combine them together. Then you're able to make a back up dvd by burning into onto the disc.
