OK well budget is around 10500 w.o taxes and around 12000 total everything.
I've been mainly looking at accords (98-01) and camrys (98-01) but all have proven to have something wrong with them. In all the accords at least half of them have had tranny problems where the car reacts way after you switch the gear. For example i'd switch in D but the car would actually feel creeping forward after about 5-10 seconds. Same thing would happen when switching in R. Except that they've either been dinged up in a LOTT of places and etc...

In general the car im looking for gotta be a family car, sedan, 4 doors, AntiLock Brakes, 1998 and higher in years and anything below 130 000km on it. And of course looking for something thats reliable in both gas and insurance but yet isnt totally the dullest car out there...

PS. To anyone who currently drives an accord around 1998-2001 please post up if you've had any problems with it.

Hmmm... I hate to sound like a broken record... but how about GM W bodies? You can probably get a 2003 Buick Regal (maybe a bit too dull for you) with about 70K-80K kms for $9-10K with a bit of bargaining... or if you can put up with the horrible interior (in the pre-2004) and want less dull, a Pontiac Grand Prix?
