Hey everyone,
I have a Sony home theater system and I'm a little tired of all the wires for the rears. I live in an appartment so it's not possible to snake the wires through the walls and stuff.
I've been looking into getting a wireless transmitter/receiver for the rear speakers. The other major issue is that because I live in a small appartment, that the 2.4 GHz spectrum is full of WiFi routers of my neighbours (and mine). The main transmitters I've seen are the Rocketfish one (Best Buy Brand). The problem is that it runs on the 2.4 GHz ISM Band. I might be using my laptop from my sofa, so there's a chance that I will need to get a Wireless system that runs in the 5.8 GHz spectrum.
Does anyone have any experience with these Wireless speaker kits? I need a good one that works in the 5.8 GHz range. Please make any recommendations. I haven't found any reviews for the 5.8 GHz ones, I've only seen the reviews for the Rocketfish one and it is generally good. But I need something that doesn't interfere with a router.
Thanks in advance!
