Anyone know where can get a deal on a Satellite Finder in the Oshawa/Bowmanville area? Are there certain features to look for, or are they all pretty much the same? TIA

Unless you are looking for an expensive model such as birdog, don't waste your money.
The cheap units that beep when a signal is on aren't much use.
I would say you are a lot better use your satellite receiver and get someone to yell / use a walkie talkie.

Word. Cheap Analog ones are no good.
Use a old box even!

Wow, glad I asked. I was looking for the cheap kind, not the Birdog.
Previously I used a receiver near the dish, but it took a very long time to find the satellite. I thought the problem was the response time for the receiver to react. I thought these cheap meters would be useful since you wouldn't have the lag as the receiver calculates the new value. Thanks for the feedback.
